Regardless of your choice, remove the META-INF folder (although you may want to keep the principal class when editing the server). To edit the file yourself, zero out 16 (0x10) bytes starting at the listed offset, turning some instructions into NOPs. Now either download one of the files below (required for 1.15+) or edit your local copy in a hex editor. I've uploaded some of my own json files so you don't have to edit yours anymore.
