Hajime’s able to use Izuru’s ability to use all the known Ultimate talents that have been researched at Hope’s Peak Academy.

This ability allows him to spread his optimism and bring hope to his allies even they already fell into despair to beat Junko. Having said that, Makoto’s luck is one of the weaknesses of Junko since she’s having a hard time countering Makoto.

However, this ability comes into play during the late scenes of the story. But unlike other characters who possess the luck ability, Makoto’s luck is different from them, because it has a puzzling pattern that even Junko can’t figure out how it works despite having the Ultimate Analytical ability.
